Review of 12 Gallon Keep Box, 21 1/2"x12 1/2"x15", Clear/Blue (AKM66486CLDBL) Category: Filing Boxes

Our local Lowes was having a sale on a different brand of clear bin at $5 each. Those were flimsy and most were already damaged in some way, so some genius stock person went into the back and pulled out these puppies! I don't know what they normally sell for, but I bought 40 of them at $5 each and only wish I had bought more!

They are a perfect size for keeping things organized in, and being able to see through them saves a lot of time. I have some older similar bins that are translucent instead of clear, and they might as well be solid black, because you can't see in. These are great! We keep toy sets, tool groups, you name it we keep them together with the tubs, which also stack nicely up to five or six high, depending on how much weight is in them.

I don't know why everyone on the internet has these being so expensive, though. I won't pay more than $9 each to buy more, even as much as I love them.

Review of WESCO LEXCO Folding Hand Trucks

Handles the strain of 100lbs. of photo gear in off-road conditions pretty well. No complaints about capacity and ease of collapse/deploy. It is really light and surprisingly compact. I would suggest buying extra bungee cords if you are hauling a lot since the included one can only wrap so much. Also, at maximum extension, the handle is still kind of short - I have to walk in small steps to keep it from nicking my heels (I am over 6' tall).

I made a canoe carrier from scratch using these and some 2x4 boards.The heavy duty plating took the weight and I think even giggled.

Be advised that these are industrial products and have some oil on them (presumably to prevent rusting).A box of four wheels made my living room smell after about a day of sitting there.Clean them off or leave in well ventilated area.

Review of Folding Platform Truck With Solid Steel Deck 400 Lb. Capacity

This platform truck is great for moving small things. The platform is not too large and it is easily manueverable. I live in a highrise complex where carting things from the garage, in and out of elevators, and up and down hallways make this a must have. Whether its groceries or boxes, this cart is perfect. For example, I've used it for cases of bottled water and it sure beats manually hauling those heavy items. It folds up nicely and can either be stowed in the car trunk or a closet. It is a solid piece of equipment with a great nonskid deck. The only piece that seemed cheap was the brace between the handle tubes. It is very lightweight and just a little pressure from boxes can make it bend a little. That surprised me. Other than that it is very sturdy with great wheels. It definitely does the job.

We used this at my company for awhile and it was pretty good initially, but the weight limit is pretty strict.The card has warped dramatically so it leans back about an additional 20 degrees.The wheels are too small for most steps so you are working a heck of a lot harder.

This might be good if you cart bulky lightweight items, but you are better off buying something sturdier for comparable money.We are buying a replacement a year later for this item.

Review of Harper Trucks PM22Y-HDC Pot Mover

Moving large potted plants just became a one-person job. With a regular hand truck, this job required either strapping the plant in tight or keeping a hand on the trunk to keep it from rolling off the cart to one side. That was awkward, time-consuming, and not good for the back. This handy tool locks the pot in so that it can not roll off. And essentially no lifting. The one qualifier (and reason for 4 stars and not 5) is that it is not easy on more flexible plastic pots, because the prongs of the cart bear on the plastic unevenly. On the other hand, the cart makes moving so easy that it probably makes sense to use a sturdier pot. We are thrilled with this purchase.

Review of Foldable Platform 660lb Hand Truck Cart Dolly 24 x 36

I recently bought this cart from Pro-line via Amazon.com and I am very happy with its overall design and performance. It is large enough to hold six 5-gallon water bottles and the wheels & steering work pretty good, even with a heavy load. My only criticism would be that I thought [...] the assembly instructions needed to include a version in English. Thankfully installing the wheels wasn't that difficult.Overall, I'm glad I purchased this cart. It has made my life a lot easier getting heavy water bottles from my car to my front door in one trip.

Review of 2000 lb Cable Hand Winch Boat-Truck-Car-Trailer-ATV

I mounted it on my San Pedro artist's easel and use it to raise and lower the canvas support tray. The winch itself is clunky and imprecise, with wide tolerances everywhere. I think it should be fine for simple applications like mine, but I would never trust it where safety was involved. I think the "2000 lbs" claim should be taken with not a grain but a box of salt. Oh, it might lift that much weight, and technically you might get it to lift even more, but I wouldn't stand beneath the load being lifted unless you're ready to be brushed by the angel's wing.

Review of Travel Smart TS31LHT Ladderkart Professional Grade Stepladder

The hand truck/ladder is versatile but can be dangerous as there is no way to lock the hand truck in the down position so that when you remove a load it can fall over easily and hurt someone or break something. There is also no way to lock it in place to be able to place your load on it. Once you get the load on it works fine, but removing the load is difficult. The ladder is awesome as well, but a little difficult to store because of the size of the wheels. I will keep it and try to find a way to lock the hand truck open with bungee chords.

Review of Harper Trucks BKTAK19 600-Pound Capacity P-Handle Hand Truck

This appears to be model for warehouse clubs such as CostCo. Turns out, not as smooth as a true professional hand truck as my movers used.
One tire broke apart, difficult to find replacement, design looks rather difficult to pull out and replace. Does not look like one can unmount and replace the rubber tire, looks like one must replace the whole wheel assembly.
We got to use it mostly for the one time we moved our (full-size) refrigerator, otherwise, until I find a replacement wheel, I feel like the amount of use we got out of it was rather expensive for what we paid for it, despite its apparently low price.

Review of Folding Platform Truck, 660 Lb, 36"x24 3/4", Blue/Gray (SPR02040) Category: Platform Trucks

The cart arrived the day after I ordered it (ten stars!) but without instructions (2 stars) which meant that I wasn't sure whether to put the swivel wheels on the front or the back (1 star) but I looked up a similar products review and it recommended putting them on in front (5 stars for that review) so I put it together with my rachet wrench (0 stars for making the back wheel housing hard to use a ratchet wrench in) and opened it up but then couldn't fold the handle back down (-20 stars) until the next day, when I figured out that I had to push down on the bar between the back wheels to fold the handle back down (5 stars for me).So, I am now the happy owner of a platform truck with a folding handle instead of very unhappy customer who is removing the pins on the handle in preparation for returning it .... and all of this drama could have been avoided with a simple instruction sheet!

I try to filter out the hype that sometimes ends up in reviews on this site - but the reviews on this product seemed to have a bit of truth to them so I ordered them.I am very impressed; these really do help out.

One of the biggest challenges I often have when working around the house is moving large items by myself.My wife is always willing to try and help but her will is sometimes larger than her muscles.

Now, these make it much easier for us.Last weekend, we used these to move a washer and dryer from one end of the basement to the other.No problem at all.Before using these, I would have struggled to get this done but these straps made it very easy for her to help me and we got the job done quickly and probably much more safely.It was so easy I was almost laughing.

Enough said... these lived up the hype.I'm very glad to own them.

I had a problem with the zerk fittings. The hub is too thin for the zerk threads. You have at the most 1/2 thread engagement. When I pulled my grease gun back the fitting came with it.

Review of Milwaukee Hand Truck - 1000-Lb. Capacity, P-Handle, Model# 49977

If you need a LARGE hand truck, this one is excellent.I purchased this to move rocks around my property when building a rock retaining wall.

It is WIDE (2 ft) and TALL (>5 ft) and has a very large base and integrated wheel fenders/protectors.The tires are much bigger than a typical hand truck.Rolls easily over rough terrain.

As long as you don't intend to use it in your house or go through interior doors with it, this is well worth the price.

The shipping brings it up to around $150.I think it will last forever.It is at least twice as good than the plastic "600 pound" (yeah right) variety from the home improvement store.The metal wheels are nice and it has knobby treads.

I was able to move 300 pound boulders with ease.

I have used lots of bungee cords over the years that have varied in quality. Cheap bungee cords tend to be thin, have a single hook, and fray easily--though sometimes none of that matters. However after I purchased the Magna Hand Cart on Amazon to transport boxes in the office and luggage at the airport, I looked for a quality set of bungee cords that I could use, and discovered this product, which works perfectly.

Regardless of what you use these bungee cords for, they are first rate. They have a nice thickness, a double hook at each end for a more secure connection, and easily stretch. For the price a set costs on Amazon, they are a bargain. They are much longer than lots of other bungee cords, however, so be sure that you need this extra length; otherwise you should get something else.

Very nice hand truck. I looked all over the place looking for a nice american made hand truck but couldn't find one in stores. Found this one on amazon and am happy with it. While, and rightfully so, it is not one of the higher weight capacity ones out there, it is very well designed and convenient for all purposes. The only thing I noticed was that the wheel rims can get bent off axis if enough pressure is applied from side ways, other than that it's just perfect for my needs.

This is a good idea in concept, but if it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't true.The description says this item converts easily from one form to another - I did not find this to be true.To reverse the loading plate, you must remove 4 bolts and 8 nuts (4 of the nuts were missing from the box; I had to supply my own).There are no instructions, just a piece of paper showing what each configuration should look like.If shipping was not so prohibitive, this item would be going back to the seller today.If I got a do-over on this, I would have bought a separate hand truck and a separate flat cart.As it is, I will most likely buy a light weight, foldable hand truck and leave this one configured as a flat cart.
